Platform Inclusion Criteria
How we screen and include platforms
Currently, LLM Pricer has included 40+ platforms, but only displays around 15 by default. Users can check "Show All Platforms" to view the full list. This document explains our inclusion criteria and default display logic.
1. Inclusion Criteria
To ensure that pricing data is valuable for reference, we only include platforms that are under active maintenance. Platforms that have been unmaintained for an extended period often have outdated pricing information, which would compromise data accuracy.
We assess whether a platform is actively maintained through the following methods:
- Availability of documentation and a public pricing page
- Availability of post-sales support channels and announcement channels
2. Why a Default Display Mechanism
All platforms meeting the inclusion criteria are displayed in the full list, but only a subset is shown by default. The reasons are:
- Data Sampling & Deduplication: Within the same price range, there are often multiple platforms with similar pricing. Showing all of them would create data redundancy. In the default view, we sample across price ranges to retain representative data points, making pricing information clearer and more efficient.
- Focus on Data Quality Maintenance: Each platform requires continuous tracking of price changes, grouping adjustments, stability status, limited-time promotions, etc., currently all done through manual review. Controlling the number of default-displayed platforms allows us to concentrate our efforts on ensuring data accuracy for these platforms.
3. Data-Driven Evaluation Mechanism
To identify representative pricing data, our core metric is real user behavior data — which we believe is the most objective and hardest-to-fabricate indicator.
Specifically, we track registration numbers for each platform through referral links and use this as a reference for evaluation:
- High registrations → indicates user approval, retained in the default display list
- Low registrations → pricing may not be representative, removed from the default display list for other platforms to try
- Previously high but recently declining → pricing may no longer be representative, removed from the default display list for a period of observation
To ensure fairness in evaluation, we strive to provide each platform with comparable exposure opportunities.
4. Default Display Standards
1. User Behavior Tracking Support
Platforms in the default display must support referral link tracking, as referral links are our primary means of obtaining user behavior data. Platforms that do not support tracking will still appear in the full list, but cannot enter the default display.
2. Good Data Performance
Under the prerequisite of tracking support, we determine which platforms to show by default based on user behavior data. See the "Data-Driven Evaluation Mechanism" section above for specific evaluation logic.
3. Dynamic Adjustment
The default display list is not static; we adjust it periodically based on user behavior data.
We are committed to maintaining objectivity in our screening process and welcome public oversight.
5. Apply for Inclusion
If you would like a platform to be included, feel free to reach out via our Contact page. We will evaluate based on the above criteria.
